ABOUT US

The North Mississippi Industrial Development Association (NMIDA) is a regional economic development agency funded by the local power companies and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in North Mississippi. Our area is comprised of 30+ counties in Northeast MS, and our mission is to assist our local developers in their economic development efforts.

We provide assistance in four areas:

Marketing

NMIDA provides a host of marketing services, from logo design and brochures, to full marketing campaigns. We can also provide innovative solutions for promoting your site or community such as postcards, placemats, invitations and social media marketing.

Building and Site Database

NMIDA maintains a building and site database for the North MS region on TVAsites.com.

Project Development

NMIDA assists with all aspects of project development in our communities including:

• Initial community profiles
• Maps and data for RFI’s
• Marketing materials
• Site Visit Assistance

Ally Support and Events

NMIDA works closely with TVA to support our state, utility and regional organizations. We host receptions and events to insure all the economic development entities are working together to bring jobs and investment to our area.
