Airports and Air Travel
Air travel is easy from the Golden Triangle Regional Airport (GTR), Tupelo Regional Airport (TUP), the Jackson-Evers International Airport (JAN), or the Memphis International Airport (MEM).

Roads and Highways
Four-lane highways MS-45 and MS-82 provide access to all points in the region. I-22 was recently upgraded to Interstate Highway standards and connects Birmingham to Memphis.

Rail Transportation
Rail transportation is provided by the Canadian National/Illinois Central, Kansas City Southern, Norfolk Southern, and Burlington Northern lines.

Ports and Water Transportation
The Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, bordering Mississippi on the east, offers major port access points.
